Recap Box Score
Three players had double-doubles for the Irish: Gody (24/11), Hansbrough (15/10) and Nash (13/10). Hansbough also had 7 assists. Abro again had 5 three pointers and scored 30 points overall. As a team, ND has a season low 2 turnovers, paired with 22 assists.
An interesting, and bad aspect, of the 87 points scored, 0 points came from the bench. Peoples 14m 0-2, Scott 8m 0-2, Brooks 2m 0-0. As with most things, cannot explain why Peoples is getting so many more minutes than Brooks. Brey likes to play upperclassmen it seems. Peoples has had an unfortunate career, always being a bench player.
That will prove interesting as our next game is at Villanova, who is the only undefeated team in Big East play.
Else where in the Big East:
#21 Connecticut 88 - #1 Texas 74
Next Game: ND @ Villanova, Wed, Jan 27, 7p ET
Go Irish!
