"Most overrated stat in the history of basketball," Irish coach Mike Brey said flatly Saturday.
The above quote is in reference to bench points, of which ND had 0 against DePaul. It explains Brey's focus on offense and doesn't worry so much if some of the people on the bench are better defenders and may be needed in certain situations. We'll always win if we score more than the other team.
