If the stadium was to be renovated...

Figured this was worth noting for pure sausage if nothing else

Link: One man's vision of Stadium Renovations

Basically since there was talk a few years ago about adding in luxury boxes to the stadium and the always enjoyable topic of a jumbotron, how would it look? This guy took it upon himself to sketch out an idea and frankly it's done quite well. It keeps the brick on the outside and removes the concrete underside of the upper bowl. It also notches a cutout to view Touchdown Jesus. The jumbotron is blended well into the club level boxes in the south end zone. However, with the long vertical lines and drop offs between towers, it seems much more imposing. While it is no higher than the current press box, this height is now brought all the way around the stadium. Other comments had been if the boxes would help bounce sound back in towards the field or if the opening in the north end zone would create adverse wind effects on the field (a la Ohio State's horseshoe).

What do you want, it's a snow day. Form your own opinions. Advice to the designer had been copyright it and forward it to the ND architect.

Go Irish!
