No. 9 Connecticut 76 - No. 1 Pittsburgh 74
No. 4 Syracuse 79 - No. 5 St. John's 73
Next Up: No. 9 Connecticut - No. 4 Syracuse 7:00pm ESPN
No. 2 Notre Dame 89 - No. 7 Cincinnati 51
No. 3 Louisville 81 - No. 11 Marquette 56
Next Up: No. 2 Notre Dame - No. 3 Louisville 9:00pm ESPN (closer to 9:30)
What a phenomenal game. ND outscored Cincy 40-12 over last 17 minutes, 29-8 over the last 13:30, 21-5 over last 9:30 and held them scoreless for the last 7:25. Plus when the bench was emptied with 3:57 to go, they still opened the lead up by 8 points. The 38 point victory is the second largest in BET history (Syracuse - 41) and the largest for a ND team.
Predictions:
The effect of UConn playing its 4th game in 4 days will begin to show against Syracuse as Kemba Walker can't do everything every game. Syracuse 82 - Connecticut 74
With Notre Dame winning the first match up 89-79 in OT, ND won't let Louisville make it that close again. ND will be able to stifle Louisville with their superior defense but it will still be a close game. In the end, Notre Dame 79 - Louisville 72. The score will look closer than the game actually was with ND missing some free throws down the stretch. (Though I would love to be proven wrong again, I thought last night's game was going to be a battle. Shows what I know)
Go Irish!

It looked to me that Cincy gave up and stopped trying. The Irish were hot - loved all those 3 pointers!
