After a heated game against UConn with an exciting back and forth finish, ND won 70-67.
ND finishes with 25 wins in the regular season, a modern era record. Next stop, Big East Tournament. ND earned the #2 seed and will play Thursday at 7p. The bracket up to them:
#10 Villanova v #15 USF
#7 Cincinnati v #10/#15 Winner
#2 ND v #7/#10/#15 Winner
That seems to be a favorable draw for the quarterfinal match. ND played in the semifinal game last year on Friday, but never in the final on Saturday. Stay tuned for continual updates.
ND seems to have locked a #2 seed for the NCAA Tournament. We'll see what happens in all the conference tournaments for the final result in a week.
