Loyola Marymount (4-7) 87 - Notre Dame (9-2) 85

LMU (4-7) 87 - ND (9-2) 85
Recap     Box Score

Another poor defensive showing costs the men at the end. Down 1, LMU hit a 3 with 8s to go to take the lead and hold on for the win. A contributing factor to the lack of defense is not using the bench enough and relying too heavily on the starters. Here's a breakdown for minutes played:

Gody* 40
TJ* 38
Hansbrough* 37
Abro* 36
Nash* 32
Peoples 10
Scott 7
* - Starter

When your starters are playing 36 minutes on average, they're going to sputter down the end. Couple that with a constant back and forth game that featured 3 ties and 9 lead changes. The final 12 minutes ND had a 1 or 2 pt lead that they kept matching buckets with.

Other scores from the Big East:
Seton Hall 134 - VMI 107
#23 Wisconsin 72 - Marquette 63
Western Carolina 91 - Louisville 83
