A great game with great exposure. The players were definitely excited to be in NYC and it showed. Plus the number of east coast recruits that were at the game getting a taste of what they'll be able to do the next couple years.
Comparing 2010 to 2009, the Alamodome was in the middle of nowhere comparatively. The only things going on were ND related, opposed to everything else in NYC. Plus in the dome was a forced atmosphere. The open air stadiums for a night game generate more excitement.

November 12, 2011 - FedEx Field, Landover, MD - Maryland
October 6, 2012 - Soldier Field, Chicago, IL - Miami
October 5, 2013 - Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX - Arizona State
Looking ahead, Chicago will be a big game against Miami. And there are tons of ND fans in Chicago plus the people from South Bend that will drive over. The other two will be interesting. FedEx Field could have a very strong Maryland presence and the 2013 game will probably be similar to the game in San Antonio.
